1-800-GOT-JUNK? South Bay

I have to remove items from my mom's house after she passed, and chose 1-800 got junk because it was a big name brand. From my research, I heard it would cost a premium, but they were considered to be reliable and have good service. Well, I was wrong. Ten minutes before the scheduled arrival time, a guy calls me telling me that the team is finishing a very large removal project, and they won't be able to come by until "at least" 2.5 hours later, which would be at least 7:30pm. It would be dark by then and who wants to have people trying to remove large items in the dark?!

We have used this service many times. They are always helpful and courteous. Everything was very well explained before they started. I had quite a few items to donate to Habitat for Humanity ReStore and they will drop those items off there for me.

The movers are hard workers, definitely need a raise. Only reason I paid the price was because of the workers. Super nice got the job done insanely quick. They think if every possible way to save time and trips back and forth.

Jason and Pablo definitely lived up to the reputation of the ease of using the service. I sent a request at 3 PM today to have a mattress and box mattress removed. I was given the option of removal today, between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. At 5:15p, I received a phone call that they were 20 minutes away and confirming that it would work for them to come by. I confirmed and provided information how to find my place as I am in a condominium complex. They arrived, and took a look at what they needed to remove, and provided me the estimate and were upfront with what the cost would be, and I gave my approval. As soon as I approved, they went about it and removed the mattress, the box mattress, and the frame, and seriously were in and out of here within about 20 minutes. They really live up to what their commercials say. They are prompt, they are efficient, they are respectful of your home and your property, and got things out of here in a very quick and easy way. If this review makes it back to Jason and Pablo, I want to apologize that I didn't give you a bigger tip! If we cross paths again somewhere, lunch is on me!
