How the RHAWK Score works

Every company in our directory is scored 0-100 from public review data we scan ourselves. No company can pay for a higher score, and no ranking slot is for sale.

What we scan

Our AI scanners continuously check up to eight public review sources per company — Google, Yelp, BBB, Houzz, Angi, Facebook, Thumbtack and HomeStars — plus the company's own site for licensing, service area and contact accuracy. Every profile shows when it was last scanned.

What we measure

30
points
Rating quality

Weighted average star rating across every source we can verify.

20
points
Review volume

Total verified reviews, log-scaled so a 40-review shop isn't buried by a 4,000-review chain.

15
points
Source breadth

How many of the eight sources the company actually appears on.

12
points
Recency

Share of reviews posted in the last twelve months.

10
points
Consistency

How closely ratings agree between sources; one bad outlier costs points.

8
points
Responsiveness

Whether the owner replies to reviews, good and bad.

5
points
Data completeness

Accurate name/address/phone, licensing and accreditation, claimed profile.

Grades: A+ 90+, A 82+, B+ 74+, B 66+, C+ 58+, C 50+, D below 50.

Our best-practice guarantee

When you hire through a RHAWK match, we stand behind the research: every matched company met our score threshold at the time of the match, was scanned across multiple independent sources, and can be re-checked by you on their public profile. If a matched company falls below standard, tell us and we re-match you at no cost.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell ranking positions or let a company buy a higher score.
  • We do not delete negative reviews from a company's score.
  • We do not share your project details with anyone you deselected in the match step.
