Patients choose dentists almost entirely on reviews
Choosing a dentist is a trust decision made with no clinical information. Patients search, read the star rating, scan the last handful of reviews for anything about pain, billing surprises or the front desk, and call. Insurance participation and location narrow the list; reviews decide it. A practice with 300 recent reviews at 4.9 fills a new-patient schedule that an equally competent practice with 40 reviews at 4.3 cannot.
