24-7 Rooter & Plumbing

Total bait and switch/scam. Wish I'd read the Yelp reviews first. Asked Google for a plumber to help with my clogged bathroom sink and got an ad for 24-7 Rooter offering a "$93 Or It's Free Drain Clearing" special. The fine print said that restrictions and conditions might apply, so thought it might be a little more, but when the plumber showed up, he stood on the doorstep of my house while I described the problem and then told me that the cost would be $567. Waste of my afternoon and another day of no working sink.

This company is a total scam. I found them through a Google ad and was interested in their camera pipe inspection service, which was advertised on their website for $65. Before scheduling, I called to confirm the price, and the person I spoke with also stated that the inspection would cost $65. However, when the technician arrived, I was told the price was actually $190. The advertised price and the quoted price over the phone did not match what I was charged on-site.

No show. They told me tech will be here between 12pm to 2pm. It is 2:47 pm now and they are still not here with no update about being late or can't make it.

24/7 Rooter does expensive and shoddy work. I had them fix two leaks in my building and they charged me $1367. They had to come back the next day because the toilet continued to leak.
