Sheri was great, beginning with the initial consult and fair estimate. She made good suggestions, pointing me to additional resources outside her company that I might use, and was easy going, in a no-pressure way. When it came time to do the work, her crew was really good. With her encouragement, they went the extra mile to take care of some extra details/work that I'd asked her about. Finally, the stump grinder guy she works with, Teyo, does amazing work.

I had Blue Ox Tree Service prune and thin a Chinese Elm tree and a Japanese Maple tree and couldn't be more pleased. Sheri came by the same afternoon I contacted her to give us a quote and her team came two weeks later to do the work. I highly recommend them.

It might seem unlikely that a tree service gets 5 stars but Blue Ox Tree Service is an exceptional tree arborist. They definitely deserve the rating. Sheri owns and operates the business, and has an extremely tight-knit, detailed crew. It was easy to correspond with Sheri via text. She gave an on-the-spot estimate for our tree work, including two large Chinese Elms. Her bid was reasonable and we were able to schedule the work for a few weeks later. A few days before their scheduled arrival we noticed that rain was forecasted and reached out. Sheri was able to reschedule us for a few days after the original schedule. Sheri and her team arrived on time and got to work quickly. I especially appreciated how Sheri had me confirm if I was happy with each tree they worked on. Anything additional I wanted done to each tree was immediately addressed. When all of the trees were finished, they chipped the wood and cleaned up. Sheri is personable and it felt good to support a woman-owned small business.

I called up this place again when I wanted to have a tree pruned down and a dangerous low hanging branch removed. Again the service was wonderful. The quote was inline with what we expected, the staff arrived on time and performed the job with minimum interference to us, and they cleaned up afterwards. Nothing more that what you expect. Overall, a excellent tree service.

Especially during this past COVID year, we wanted to keep services local. Sheri and her wonderful team are at the top of their expertise. They love trees, have years of experience and it shows. We have a large, old maple tree that has provided beauty and shade, but needed TLC. Sheri was thorough during her consultation and didn't make changes to the quote. Blue Ox's expertise is why we will be repeat customers and highly recommend them for all your tree service needs. Not only was the work exceptional, they left the tree beautiful as well.
