I had Capt. Electric upgrade my electric service to 200 kw and install wiring and outlet for charger of electric vehicle. I was extremely impressed by the outstanding professionalism, and friendly and courteous approach by all the personnel from the receptionists at the office to the actual electricians at the job site. My highest recommendations to Kevin and Ethan who showed up promptly, worked efficiently, anticipating any possible problems and dealing with them preemptively, and explaining any issues to me carefully. Although their prices were a little higher than 2 other quotes, their overall performance and attention to detail gives me the security of a job well done ( You don't want to cut corners when it comes to electrical work). I kept having issues with my smoke detectors causing false alarms and decided to use the company. They followed up on my appointment and provided me with an update on the arrival of the technician. Jonah came on time, answered all my questions, and installed the new detectors on the spot. I hope they dont cause any more problems:)

If you dont want to read this lengthy review, just read this do yourself a favour and hire an independent master electrician that doesnt have the overhead with big trucks they have to pay for. Do your homework and dont rush a project. I had a disheartening encounter with captain electric recently. Firstly, their punctuality was a very minor issue. Despite promising an on time arrival time between 10-12, the electrician showed up at 12:05. This was after my first apt was changed to another day. The Captain will say I was compensated for this change as The original service fee initially quoted at $170 with tax was reduced to $100. Moreover, the lack of transparency regarding pricing was frustrating. When I inquired about the cost of a very specific part over the phone, I was informed that the electrician would need to assess it in person. I didnt understand the reason for this, but in a rush to get it done I agreed. Lo and behold, upon arrival, the electrician identified the same part I had requested a quote for. This is where matters get worse, the actual repair estimate was an astronomical $833, with over $500 attributed to labor costs for what should have been a 15-30 minute job f

Mitchell was extremely professional and completed the job very quickly. The shower stall looks amazing with light again!

This is the first time I used this company. The electricians were friendly and great to deal with. They took extra care laying down sheets and wearing coverings on their shoes. They were moving one of our lights to a new location and they took the time to clean the light before installing it. They did all the little things you would do yourself, without being asked. The quote was the final price.
