Although I ended up not going with H&J, the level of service and professionalism they offered for the onsite consultations was stellar. They gave valuable information and suggestions during the walk-throughs that helped carry over in my conversations with other contractors. I really appreciate the time they took to helping me out and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a solid contractor with fair, competitive pricing. Honestly, I think their previous work speaks for itself.

John and his team did pavers in our backyard - after removing the old wooden deck. They did fabulous job delivering exactly what we wanted. The work was done really well, and they left our backyard in pristine condition. I would highly recommend John and his team for any project.

I've been putting off a project for my front yard for years and I finally found the right person to do the job perfectly, John! They went above and beyond with the work they did, and made my front yard look immaculate!!!! I had a concrete walkway installed with a nice wooden overhang and pea gravel installed. I couldn't have asked for a better job! These guys are the ones to go to if you need your landscaping and concrete walkways done properly.

Our experience with John and team has been nothing but positive. We have a small backyard and wanted someone that could work with our vision. We interviewed ~10 vendors for our backyard project and J&H were the only one that stood out. All the materials the team used was high quality. The thing that stood out to me was the team would include thoughtful things in execution that didn't even cross our minds. Often we would find John fix small things around the backyard that they hadn't even broken without being asked to. The team is very kind, very professional and the quality of work is outstanding. Overall, we had an amazing experience with John and would definitely hire the team again! We got our dream backyard and it's much better than we envisioned, we cannot stop getting complements about it.

We hired John and his team at H&J Landscaping for a complete backyard renovation and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The project included a paver patio, grass installation, concrete stepping stones with pebble borders, flower beds with irrigation, tree planting, a retaining wall and landscape lighting throughout. John really knows his stuff and has been doing this for over 30 years so it shows. He made sure everything was done right including adding weed blockers, bark mulch and even gopher wires under the planting areas so we won't have problems down the road. The price was very competitive compared to other quotes we got and the quality of work is outstanding. Yee was great with communication and always responded to our questions quickly which made the whole process easy. The crew worked hard every day, cleaned up after themselves and finished the project on time. Our backyard went from a bare mess to the best looking yard on our street and neighbors have already asked us who did the work. Highly recommend H&J Landscaping for any landscaping or hardscaping project. We will definitely be using them again for our front yard!
