Markham Orthodontics

I recently finished my Invisalign treatment, and I am so glad I found Dr. Markham. When I was first looking into treatment options, I almost went with an online only tray service, but I am so glad I did not. Dr. Markham does much more than just scan your teeth and order trays. He carefully plans each phase of the treatment, placing "buttons" and rubber band hooks exactly where they are needed to achieve the best alignment. He is a great orthodontist, very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. I highly recommend him.

Dr Markham is so personable and genuine with his intent to help kids not only fix their teeth but also their self esteem. He takes time to explain the issue and treatment plan. Karolina is so pleasant. She explained our braces options clearly and gave the pros and cons. Sofia is friendly and great with scheduling. Lucy is competent in installing the braces brackets and wires and thoroughly explained the do's and don't with food and cleaning the braces. I'm so impressed with the professionalism and positive vibes of the whole team.

While the facility and staff at Markham Orthodontics are friendly and professional, our experience with Dr. Markham has been disappointing. He strongly encouraged us to start a "pre-braces" treatment for our children at a very young age (8-10 years old), claiming it would help prepare them for braces later in their teens. At the time, this seemed like a proactive and reasonable step. However, what Dr. Markham failed to disclose was that most dental insurance plans typically cover only one set of orthodontic treatment per child. Because we followed his advice and began early treatment, we were shocked to learn years later that our insurance would not cover the actual braces phase--and we were left to pay the full amount out of pocket. This lack of transparency felt deceptive and financially motivated. I cannot in good conscience recommend Markham Orthodontics to other families, especially those trusting him with their children's long-term care.

This is our favorite orthodontics! All the staff are so kind and caring. We love getting the options to choose the braces colors every time it's so fun!

Two of my boys have completed phase one of Invisalign with Dr. Markham. We have been very happy with our experience and recommend Dr. Markham for his expertise and friendly staff. No complaints about the fully stocked coffee bar ;).
