Mountain View Flooring

I had my 75 year old hardwood floor refinished through Mountain View Flooring almost 1 year ago. Leslie was a pleasure to work with. She got me an estimate promptly. Her enthusiasm about how beautiful my floor could look was contagious. She suggested just polyurethane without stain for the best look, and she was right. She made sure the work crew did the job correctly, visiting the house on the day of the job. I'm sure she does these jobs all the time, but for me, it was a big event, so I appreciated that my satisfaction was clearly important to her. The floor looks as good today as it did a year ago when I meant to write this review.

I have a big project and the company was realistic about that. However, they did not complete the job and communication was lacking. I walked into my house with nothing but a small area sanded and was never notified that the job was not going to be completed. Very disappointing experience.

We signed a contract on June 2021 with Mountain Valley Floors to install LVT flooring in the kitchen dining and front entryway. The contract specified the flooring, the transitions and the labor. We paid 50% down. While supply chain issues caused what we thought was a delay in finishing the installation since the material for the transitions was delayed, it became apparent that the specified product was simply never going to materialize after waiting many weeks. We were left with an incomplete job and a higher final bill than expected. Communication is not a strong suit with this company.

Great experience all the way through the process; ordering installation and trim work, we had LVT installed upstairs and carpet in the basement. The installation team were incredibly efficient, helpful and polite.

Bill and his wife Leslie were awesome to work with. They were always prompt to return messages and update us on the status of our flooring project. The final product was absolutely amazing and very affordable. My wife and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their floors done correctly and affordably.
