We had solar installed by Nabu Energy in late 2025 to take advantage of the 30% Federal tax credit. After getting quotes from several companies, Nabu Energy was clearly the best. The cost for both the 10.1 kW and 12.4 kW systems with two powerwalls each for two properties made complete sense even before applying the 30% tax credit. The tax credit is just a nice icing on the cake. The team was professional. The installation went smoothly. We've already seen the savings and long-term benefits. The process from start-to-finish, including sizing and designing the system, has been managed effectively and with excellent communication. Timelines were met with very little inconvenience to us.

REVIEW UPDATE: We had a fine experience with Nabu Energy in September 2024. Out of the several solar companies I had vetted, including Tesla, Nabu really came through for us. Actually, we had started with Tesla (due to lower pricing) but their service just starting out was so difficult and inattentive, I called off the deal. Then I discovered Nabu. What impressed me was they are engineers, not sales people, and have their own local crews. They know their technical stuff in minute detail. They listened to me and what I wanted. No sales pressure. I got top of the line REC 430W panels and a Powerwall 3. Their process from design to installation was always professional and prompt. The only slow parts were waiting on PG&E to inspect, etc. Pricing was fair, though hardly inexpensive. Thus it's great when you have a rewarding experience and are very satisfied. We highly recommend Nabu Energy. SINCE THE INSTALL: We've enjoyed a HUGE savings on our PG&E bills because of Nabu. Many bills during Spring - Fall were $0 for electricity!

Great Fix for the Builder Installed EV Outlet Issue! Our builder-installed EV charging port ran into major functional Issue of heating and ultimately the wiring inside melted due to loose wiring and needed urgent repair. I contacted Nabu Energy since they are the Licensed Electrical Contractors, I was recommended by a friend from my community. They Technician arrived on time , he quickly diagnosed the faulty wiring setup from the original build, he changed the charging port/plug and wired it properly, and took the time to completely test everything before leaving. The pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend them for EV Charger Installation work or repairs.
