Our experience began with a call to them. It was returned within an hour by their front office staff. Later that day I got a call from Dennis, the CEO, who immediately set up a meeting time with me later that week. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted, he made a few suggestions, and thanks to a break in another job they were doing nearby in Los Altos Hills, they began the next week. Jose, the very experienced team lead did a great job planning and creating our both functional and decorative garden stone retaining wall, with a team of 4. Jose is great. He is careful, thorough, efficient and meticulous. He measures things multiple times and clearly visualizes the end point before beginning a project phase. AND their total price came in quite close to what I anticipated. I would definitely use them again.

I needed to replace a sidewalk. Communication with Dennis and Marcia was very easy. Peninsula Concrete gave me a very fair estimate with various options broken down, in case the city required more work to be done as part of the pre-inspection. They handled all the work/permit with the city, and managed to do the work very promptly with minimal disruption. They also handled well the mess made by the recent atmospheric rivers - setting up a temporary pump and scheduling the concrete pour around the weather to ensure it would dry correctly. Very happy with the end result - thank you!

I have done several projects with Dennis and his crew. They are so good at problem solving. I took out a dying tree and it left a giant hole in the middle of the patio. They were able to remove pavers from another area of the yard to match the 20 year old pavers. You can't even tell the patio wasn't always like that! Another project was replacing a driveway that had a issue with flooding during rain storms. They were able to restore an old drain and now we have a beautiful driveway that no longer has a flooding issue. I would highly recommend Peninsula Concrete!
