Rafael's Landscaping

Rafael's Landscaping completely re-did our backyard, transforming it from a fairly neglected space into a beautiful oasis. They did really excellent work including a brick patio, a pergola, pavers, grass, planted areas (and irrigation), lighting, installing fountains and more. They were incredibly easy to work with, very communicative, helping to not only identify potential issues, but offer up solutions. Would recommend them without hesitation to anyone doing landscaping work in the Bay Area, and look forward to hiring them again when we tackle future projects!

not only did the team install our new landscaping exactly as it was designed by Arborealis in Alameda, but they did it quickly and efficiently. plus, they were friendly and positive. They work so well as team. We highly recommend them for any landscaping project in the East Bay.

We hired Rafael and team for a major overhaul of our backyard which presented a challenging uphill slope, many mature and overgrown shrubs and dated wood decks and retaining walls. This job lasted over 80 days. They handled a tremendous amount of demolition within 10 days of starting, manually digging out many stumps, hauling wood, concrete and excess dirt out. He had some great connections for a concrete sub-contractor who handled their side of things perfectly. We were working with design plans we secured ourselves and he worked diligently executing it, seeking feedback from us and the designer all along the way. His daughter has joined the business handling many client needs and dealing with scheduling, subs, designers etc. and they are customer-focused and very responsive throughout the entire process. Job pricing was fair and competitive for such a large job. Very happy with final results and you will likely be happy too.
