Right Way Garage Doors

I decided to give Right Way Garage door a call due to our garage not opening. I set up an appointment and today our technician Neil.L called beforehand to let us know he was on his way. Once Neil entered our garage he immediately knew what the problem was and it was that our springs were broken! Neil gave our options on different springs and price. Neil got right to work replacing the springs and checked that everything was in working order and lubricated. Neil was done with everything in short time and friendly and professional and we will definitely call Right Way for any further garage door needs.

Had 1 of 2 springs break on a weekend and called Right Way, an appointment was scheduled for 1st thing Monday morning. Conner called right before arriving on time, inspected the unit and gave a detailed assessment on the needed repair. Explained several hardware options with no sales pressure whatsoever. He completed the job in rapid fashion, suggested upgrading to premium door rollers with a substantial discount since he was already here. Found several loose fasteners and repaired them at no extra expense. Fully lubed the system and explained how to maintain it. Price was very fair especially with the extra services provided. I requested a diagnosis and estimate for a problem I was having with my garage door, and called around to some local places. Right Way was one of the easiest calls I made, and they had someone available in their office to schedule me for a free estimate that day. Couldn't argue with that. My tech, Connor, was driving all around the area, but called me when he was leaving Napa to let me know an approximate arrival time, and he was nearly on time getting here. At first, he wasn't sure about the issue, and he was straightforward about that. He told me what he thought was wrong (a crack in a panel), but the crack was really hard to find. He also let me know that my system was probably past its prime, said some of the issues I was having went along those lines, and explained to me that getting a new door (which I was going to need anyway) would require me to get a new motor as well. He gave me four different estimates for door and motor combinations, left me with a good packet of literature on my options, and made sure that my email address was correct before he left so that he could send me the estimates. Where Right Way failed was in the original visit and estimate: first off, I was told I could get a side mounted motor, which would have been ideal. I even called out an electrician and installed an outlet on the wall for that, but when it came to installation, Miguel said it was impossible due to pipes on the wall that the estimator somehow ignored. I also pointed out to the estimator that I needed the door to match the others in the HOA in style, color and glass type. He wrote "transparent glass" even though it obviously wasn't. In the end, the entire replacement took over a month(!) to do, which is ridiculous. Installers Miguel and Mike were excellent, but the estimator and back office really need to get their act together. Be very careful if you use this company.

Our garage spring broke so we called Right Way as they are the ones who installed our garage door. We were given an appointment on the same day! Matt did a wonderful job getting our garage door working again. $704 for 2 springs and it's as good as new. I would definitely recommend.
