I have been using Talbots for years and have always been very satisfied. Recently, Kirk came and solved several problems in a timely and efficient way. I highly recommend them.

Rude on phone - they literally just hung up on me - would never hire them based on this.

We used Talbott Electric a little over a year ago, and the job went fine. Just needed help with some exterior outlet that's weren't working. I will say that small talk is not welcomed and that's fine, but I don't like to feel like a company is doing me a favor for me hiring them to do a job I'm paying for. I called back recently and left a voicemail as nobody answered the phone during working hours... We were looking for a quote on a panel upgrade which is probably a $4K - $5K job but we never got a call back...? Well, I guess they don't need or want my business and I'm not going to beg to give you my money.

Kirk, the owner, arrived on time. I was charge $210 for a replacement of one ceiling light socket. Because he did not have proper part with him, he went to purchase one. The actual work took no more than 10 minutes. He first wrote down the wrong arrival time of 10:00am instead of the actual 10:15. I was charged 1-1/4 hours labor (including his 40 minutes shopping time) for a 10 minutes work. If you want to engage them to fix your electrical issues, mark down their arrival time and stop them wasting time to check around.

Had brought a vintage marble lamp to be rewired. They broke the marble arm on the lamp and when I confronted them on it when I went to pick it up at their shop, they said they were not responsible for any breakage of any kind while they were working on it in their shop.....WHAT ??!?? They claimed they knew no one to repair it...right..... they have been on business in Pasadena for decades....They would not pay for the repair. I think the son is running it now, horribly unprofessional and were just jerks about repairing something they admitted they damaged. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere....This isn't what it used to be...
