1-800 WATER DAMAGE of Hayward and Dublin, CA

Recently I had a plumbing problem which caused a partial flood of sewage water in my floor of my an inlaw unit of my house. When figuring out restoration companies and filing an insurance claim, I went on Yelp Quotes to figure out who could respond as quickly as possible. Many of the companies said they didn't have anyone available, and 1-800 WATER DAMAGE was out of the first to respond. I didn't know 1-800 WATER DAMAGE are franchises of a larger company, but so far I had a good first impression. They sent one of their Project Managers Angel Torres to do an assessment. He came when he said would, was very friendly and explained things in a clear manner. After they sent a quote, I felt comfortable proceeding with them. Before an insurance adjuster could do their assessment, Angel came before to setup high grade dehumidifiers and air filters and do a hard surface cleaning. Angel also offered to be around with when the insurance adjuster came in case there were any questions he could help offer, I don't know if that's a common practice but Angel seemed sincere. ANGEL TORRES is the best!!! :) Angel came over to my home and went straight to work. Without hesistation and/or complaint he professionally went under my home's crawl space in his hazmat suit and equipment and in a few minutes located where my water leak was coming from and the extent of my water damage underneath my house. He did everything with no mess and also hooked me up with a great plumber/pipe repair guy who also did a great professional job at a good/decent/reasonable price...GREAT WORK...I would recommend to everyone!

I cannot recommend 1800WD highly enough! We came home from vacation to a terrible smell from a leak in our sink, we have a toddler so we were pretty worried about mold. From dispatch to consultation with Angel, our amazing specialist, I knew we were in good hands. His expertise, kindness, honesty, and skill are unmatched. He and his crew handled the disaster promptly. We even left our house in his hands when we went out of town. I don't think I would do that with anybody else! If you are ever concerned about mold or Water Damage, dont hesitate. Not only did they vacuum seal and meticulously, clean every detail, they tested for mold all around our house and located water issues in our babies's room AND even handled a rodent issue. I trust Angel with our home and safety, we are so grateful!!!

Angel was incredibly helpful--he made us feel like we had a friend who would take care of everything. He was very professional and detail-oriented in everything he did. When my wife didn't feel comfortable signing the paperwork, he volunteered to read through the documents and explain them in a way we could understand. He also helped us a lot by meeting with other contractors and walking them through the damage, since my wife wasn't comfortable doing that herself. Angel was excellent at communicating and kept us informed and updated every day. I wouldn't wish water damage on anyone--it's no joke--but if it ever happens to you, I highly recommend asking to work with Angel from 1-800 Water Damage. He'll make your life a little easier and give you one less stressful thing to deal with.

He also helped us navigate the insurance process, which we really appreciated.
