Becks Heating & Air

Juan from Beck's came to our home. I had told him that our AC Condenser had gone out and he already had an idea of what it was. Our Condenser is on the roof and we both went up there to take a look. He diagnosed it quickly and said he had the part in his van. After installing the part, vrrrooooomm!! It started. He gave what I thought was an honest assessment of how much life the unit had left and said to call him when we wanted to upgrade. He was recommended by our neighbor and so I am recommending him to everyone!

Becks Heating installed our Furnace/AC unit 14 years ago. We have had zero issues with it until yesterday, when the blower stopped working (intermittently). Juan came out today and resolved it. Can't say enough about how professional and nice he was. And we live in the Santa Cruz Mountains - so extremely impressed with the quick and competent service!

Becks heating was recommended by AAA furnace since we live outside of LG. It has been three weeks now since a fellow came out to look at our furnace which would come on and then stop after a very short period. He did an outstanding job in figuring out what was causing the problem but did not know why this occurred or how to solve it. I was told that he would call Amanna for advice. I've heard nothing since. I've contacted Becks 5 times now and they ignore me. It's always they will call, same with voicemail attempts. As far as they know the furnace is still not working, guess they don't care. They have sure left me hanging.

I woke up to a heater that no longer came on. I tried troubleshooting via Youtube and it didn't work. So I called a friend who recommended Beck's and I called and the fact that it took them four days to return my call should have been a clue to what was to come. Albert came out and fixed it. He said they shouldn't put in a two stage heater but it hadn't been working for 8 years with only a tuneup needed. Albert said he would have changed all the duct worked when it was installed but for now he would turn down the gas flow which should fix the problem. According to him stage 2 of the heater was pushing out so much heat it was getting to hot and shutting off. He did that and ran it for 10 minutes everything was working fine. The heater was turned off and then I left to run some errands. I returned to a home. Within 12 hours the furnace was not working again. When I called them to tell them the lady told me it would be another service charge to come and troubleshoot again. That each time they come out it is a service charge and their work is not guaranteed. They are only troubleshooting and it is a guess. She told me it took them 8 tries to get it right once. We woke up to a cold house in 50 degree weather, and called them right away. I got lucky that someone was available to come the same day. Though it was a quick and easy job, they did not overcharge me like some others would. Will use them again.
