North Breeze HVAC & Refrigeration

I had a really strong experience working with North Breeze on a full HVAC replacement and zoning setup, and what stood out most was how different their approach was from other companies we spoke with. Several competitors leaned heavily on sales-driven recommendations and were quick to dismiss questions or concerns. North Breeze was the opposite. They approached the project from an engineering perspective -- thinking through system design, airflow, zoning behavior, and real-world use instead of just quoting equipment. That made a huge difference in both the decisions we made and the final result. Their communication throughout the process was excellent. They were responsive, clear, and willing to engage thoughtfully with detailed questions, even when we were trying to understand more nuanced behavior of the system. I never felt brushed off or pressured into a quick decision. After installation, we had a specific question about how one of the zones was behaving. Rather than dismissing it, they came out, spent several hours diagnosing the system, and made adjustments to ensure it was working as intended. That level of follow-through and willingness to dig into the details really stood

Kevin was on time and in the diagnostic round he identified the issue and sealed air leaks from hvac. Ordered the parts, clearly communicated cost of parts, approx time of delivery and followed up after order arrived for install. Came on time and fixed the parts and very reasonable pricing.

Kevin removed our old gas furnace and installed a new heat pump system, and the result has been excellent. The city permit from Santa Clara dragged on through December, so we spent part of the month freezing while waiting--but we needed the system installed before the end of 2025 to qualify for the federal rebate, which expires after that thanks to Trump's Big unBeautiful Bill. Kevin pulled it off anyway, completing the entire install in just two days and finishing on December 30th. The system works like a dream. We've used Northbreeze for the past 2-3 years and have been consistently impressed. Highly recommended.

They are professional, prompt, responsive and I highly recommend them. Kevin was our tech and he was very thorough.

I have this Subzero refrigerator. The freezer part has an uneven temperature between top and bottom. Kevin is very knowledgeable and diligent. He diagnosed it and explained the reason and the solution. Good job.
